We’re excited to tip off another great year of KMS hoops! Whether your child is brand-new to basketball or has been playing for years, we’re glad you’re here. Our program focuses on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and having fun!

What to Expect

• Player-first coaching: Fundamentals, confidence, and game IQ.

• Positive culture: We model respect—for teammates, opponents, and officials.

• Clear communication: Schedules, updates, and reminders sent promptly. We use the SportsEngine app.

Season Snapshot

• Who: KMS boys & girls in grades 4th through 6th

• When: Practices begin in November; games/tournaments run December through February  

  • Practices: One practice per week, the day & time will vary by team.  

  • Games/Tournaments:  Games will be held Saturdays or Sundays.  There is variation between coaches/grades on how many weekend  tournaments are scheduled.  We attempt to provide as many opportunities to play as possible during the season.  It is common to have games each weekend and although we encourage full participation, we fully understand family events, vacations, and illnesses will occur!
